5/10NL - QQ, gross board
One limper, I raise to $50 in MP with red QQ. Villain (nicknamed Stevie Flush, for his proclivity towards chasing flushes) calls on the button, everyone else folds. I have about $800, Villain covers.
Flop $115 - 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet $100, Villain calls quickly Turn $315 - 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet $200 Okay so far? |

Re: 5/10NL - QQ, gross board
okay, so....
he takes a long time, then calls. I think he's acting. He calls quickly with his draws. River $715 - T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check with the intention of folding, he moves all-in for $500-something, I fold Would anyone have played it differently? Checked the turn? Blocked the river? Called the river? |

Looks good to me. I think given your read you were probably dead on the turn. Given the type of live player you described I can't imagine calling here.

Looks like he might have done the super system move with a straight there
