Default filling low calorie foods

although there are several threads on healthy eating, I don't believe we've had one on very filling yet low calorie foods. I usually get extremely hungry after working out, even if I've had dinner and drank a ton of water.

recommendations for low calorie things that are pretty filling? an apple usually doesn't cut it. my standard snack is pita bread and hummus which, while tasty, is not at all low calorie.

Unbuttered popcorn is relatively low-calorie but still somewhat filling.

Dude, pickles. I love pickles, and they're like 5 calories/medium pickle. Buy good ones, not cheap ones, and they're delicious.

After working out I usually have a smoothie / protein shake:

2 fruits: apple, banana, orange, etc
1 cup no-fat yogurt
2 scoops protein powder
some skim milk
ice
blender

It probably has a little under 500 calories (55 g protein) and is filling.

I usually wait 45 min - hour after working out to have drink the smoothie. Also, drink more water and eat smaller meals so you don't get as hungry.

Some sort of a smoothie is really solid for this

Crushed ice, skim milk, strawberries (or other fruits), artificial sweetner, and maybe some plain yogurt

You need a really good blender for ice crusing if you want it to me good

Also, wtf, you're a pretty built dude, whats with the calorie counting?

You'd be much better off with natural peanut butter.
