Gus Hansen's Logic/Math Reasoning for Seeing Flops

What do people think of Gus' statements in this Poker Superstars Interview regarding seeing flops? He goes into why it's mathematically a good idea to play a lot of hands and see flops (saying the flop is 43% of your hand out of the 7 cards total - 2 down and 5 on board)...?
