Re: 200NL: KK on A high flop
Having KK when an Ace hits on the flop is never a comfortable situation. I'd take a stab on the flop, if he calls, I start thinking about pot size management.
My guess it that he has an Ace w/ a medium kicker, just enough to keep him in the hand but not enough to go crazy. |

Re: 200NL: KK on A high flop
I'm planning to c/c a reasonable river bet here, if for no other reason than to get some info.
I couldn't help but notice in hand 1 that you could/should have fired the turn as well. |

Re: 200NL: KK on A high flop
re hand 1: problem is i'm not sure whether or not he's the kind of guy to peel turn with A3/66. is this really such as easy 2nd barrel?

Re: 200NL: KK on A high flop
Hand 2: I really think you need to bet this flop (Maybe 3/4 pot). As played, I think i call a reasonable river bet. To me his line looks like a scared JJ hand, hence his weak turn bet.

Re: 200NL: KK on A high flop
bet the flop, your hand is nothing different from having 88 and you'd fire that here as it balances your range.
Im not giving up with KK just because an Ace hits as i wouldnt with 88-QQ nor AK/AQ type hands i have here. |

Re: 200NL: KK on A high flop
Seriously wtf at some of the replies in this thread? Unless this guy is a huge station or you have the worst image ever betting with KK here is a bluff and a terrible one at that.
PF/FLOP/TURN are fine, river you can either c/c or block either works. These situations suck b/c you can't get a lot of money in ahead so your line is perfect. And don't listen to some of these people saying "You have to bet the flop!" because betting the flop literally accomplishes nothing. |
