hands 1 and 2 i like, though i usually make my blocking bets a little more than 1/2 pot. especially the $75 in hand 2, that looks extremely weak. hand 3 i think you gotta bet closer to pot on the flop and turn, other than that it looks ok...though i'm sure some people will say call bc donks will push 2pr here.

1. I c/c reasonable river, rest of hand is fine is to me.

2. PF is whatever, but your raise is too small. Also, at this level I am realizing raises from the blinds just don't get much respect (def one of the main differences in play from 3/6+ IMO). I'll be interested to hear what people advocate on the turn play here. I probably play it fast.

3. You acknowledged the flop, but that turn bet really sucks. I don't think I can fold that river after you bet so much.

blocking bets should be about 1/3 pot on river. Value bets a little over half.

In general, I like to block passive/non great players who wont read it as block and raise with anything. Against a good 30/20, I like c/c most bets when scare card comes, especially if he's been floating me, and I'm giving up a lot of hands. Also, against aggressive player, its good to put in fake block with real hand to induce raise.

Hand 1: blocking for 50 is fine. Also, possible he's on flush draw on turn, figuring to bet small to feel you out. When you dont just call and lead turn, he puts you on what you have, so c/c this river isn't bad. The only tough part may be having to call big bet after showing so much weakness. Need a read though. without it, block/fold is good.

hand 2: Bet 55 and fold to raise. A bit weak, but both flush and straight got there after 4 players seeing flop.

hand 3: I may c/c against this guy. If you're going to 'block' do it with less, dont put in 5/8 of your effective stack so you can fold.

hand 1. good

hand 2. BET THE TURN.

hand 3. your flop and turn bets are a little smallish for my tastes. river sucks but looks like a good fold.
