Re: And I\'m done
Man, that happens. That's poker. If you are a good player, you should actually deny your bad luck and tell everyone you are the luckiest man in the world even when you are running bad. When someone asks me about a hand I played, I will always tell a suckout I made and never a bad beat.

Re: And I\'m done
I'm not sure if you guys really grasp how many downswings I've been through.
I emplore you guys to find a low stakes player that has had a suckout for $25k, because I have. If there is any content in my whiney posts, please know that whenever you think you've ran bad, you can run much much much much worse. |

Re: And I\'m done
A therapy for you: browse through hand histories and find suckouts - all you can find - your suckouts, where you sucked out (and don't tell me you never sucked out because you did - you don't that often because you are a good player and you don't get your money in bad that many times, but sometimes you do and you suckout). Think positively, man. The problem with guys like you and Matusow is that you believe you will lose before you even lose. How can you not lose then?
Also, it affects your image if you are running bad. I don't like my opponents to know when I am running bad. I would like them to think I am the luckiest guy in the world. I had a losing session today - a lot of bad things happened. But there was one good thing and I will try to remember just this hand - I raised preflop with AQo, the flop was Jxx, villain checked, I moved in, he had AJ and a Q felt on the river. It was MTT. From every session you play, try to find these lucky moments and remember only them. |
