Default HU NL Cash questions which never get answered (winrate, variance etc.)

Hey!

It's really hard to find info on HU NL Cash info such as winrates, BR reqs, Variance and other very basic stuff.

So I was hoping to get a discussion going about these things and we might be able to add them to the coming FAQ.

Topics that I would love to see answered/discussed:

* Winrate for HU Cash (both NL and limit)
* Bankroll reqs for NL and limit
* What variance to expect in HU cash
* Any other 'basic' topic which is sort of unexplored in the HU scene.

Thanks!

I can tell you that variance is HU-[censored]-MONGOUS if you are playing someone you only have a small edge against. The variance is pretty small if you have a big edge.

-I think you should probably have a higher BB/100 HU if you are a good player. Table selection is key in HU since obviously you only have one opponent to make money from.
-Maybe 40-50 buyins. Just play lower than you usually do in 6m or full tables.
-Don't know. More variance than 6max tables.

Variance is not determined by how big an edge you have.
