Default Speaking of FSU\'s post..

Party 2k six max. Yeah its good to be canadian. Villan in this hand is Big_Tic666, a good lag, probably 2+2. Im pretty sure his original range is wide becuase the limper was a weak player. Really wasnt sure how to play my hand after he donks into me. If we had 2k stacks id probably just push, but the extra makes it difficult.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($1010)
SB ($1380.48)
BB ($4871)
UTG ($4331)
MP ($4090.32)
Hero ($3379)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $10.
UTG calls $20, MP raises to $90, Hero raises to $300, 3 folds, UTG folds, MP calls $210.

Flop: ($650) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP bets $411.

Call.

But I think it's more important to consider what turn card do you feel comfortable calling an open-push/bet? And what do you do if he checks the card that you originally thought was part of his range?

if i was playing v crazy and it was the right rhythm id raise w/ the intention of calling a shove.

in general i think calling is fine, but be sure u have a plan for the turn if u bet it.

i'm really suprised em2 is advocating a call. he's usually good at making big folds and this seems like a pretty good spot to fold.

if you call you better have a plan for the turn, because he's leading about 99% of the time and it's going to be an ugly turn 98% of the time.

Are you just going to give him that much respect everytime he bets 400 on the flop? Raising is very stupid unless you plan to raise to 1100 and fold to a push, and calling just seems way 2 nittish.

get the mooney in obv. thats why you call the flop instead of push, so that you give him a chance to pot the turn with hands that would have folded to a flop push.
