not a bad beat story just confused

playing in a low limit cash game the other night i was on the big blind with a junk holding 7 3 off suit..Now i had been running over the table pretty much since sitting down and my game got looser..Anyway no one raises so i check my blind flop hits 7 3 A ..great for me 2 pair so i raise every one folds except 1 who reraises..now with me playing so aggressive he probably thought my raise didn't mean much i call turn comes 6 no flush draw on board i bet the pot and he goes all in for his last 20 dollars and i make the call he turns over A 10 and hits his 10 on the river making the higher 2 pair...now this i am fine with and not complaining about him making his hand it happens,, what did confuse me are the 2 players out of the hand that typed rolf and what a donk.. would any one not have pushed the 2 pair with that board?
