How to take a screenshot?
Can anyone tell me how to take and save a screenshot on my computer? I'm running Windows XP on a Gateway laptop. Thanks.

Re: How to take a screenshot?
alt+print screen or ctl+print screen will copy either the active window or the entire screen to the clipboard and you can paste it wherever you want from there. At least that is what works on desktops.

ALT+Print screen and paste it into a graphics app like paint or even Word.

[ QUOTE ]
alt+print-screen copies the active window to the clipboard. print-screen or control+print-screen copies the whole screen. [/ QUOTE ] Good point. I need to explain more sometimes. |
