Default Blackjack Tournaments

Anybody have any experience with these? Got an invite from Flamingo due to a drunk black-chip night I'd like to forget during the wsop.

How many runners are there? General atmosphere? Since it's probably a freroll for everyone it seems like it would be a good time. Also got a roulette tournament flyer, is that any better? Any opinions or info or strategy advice is appreciated

See Ken Smith's Blackjack Tournaments.com

If you've got a chance, study the strategy before you go. Might as well maximize the value of any freeroll you get. The bible for tournaments is Casino Tournament Strategy by Stanford Wong.

His book also covers roulette and any other game really.

It's a big help, especially if you can understand all the hands. Hollywood Dave is a tourney and math expert. You may want to check out his book. He's an egotist and kind of a jerk, but the book may be good. I actually haven't read it so I can't say for sure.
