Default ZOMG 2 PAIR!!

UTG is spazzy and bad, BTN is just plain bad. He's generally chickenshizz postflop, but has trouble folding. In a previous hand he raised on the button with A9o then checked behind on a K92 flop vs the two blinds, then called two bets cold on an inconsequential turn.

My thoughts on the hand are that BTN is definitely raising the turn with a flush or boat, based on the action. Once UTG gives up on the river, my hand is likely to be be good, and unlikely to be overcalled by UTG who probably has the bare A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

I thought this hand was pretty interesting, but it might be tilty and bad. What do you guys think?

I think calling and trying to get UTG to call behind with as little as a naked A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (or something like A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Jx) looks better. Even if you don't think he'll call with them all the time, he's definitely not calling a one pair hand for two bets and may very well call with it for one closing the action. There's a nonzero chance that Button has a scared small flush or a set or whatever, and he's certainly not folding either, and UTG is going to fold a lot of hands he'd call one bet with.

Edit: Didn't see the board pair on the turn. Not sure if this changes anything.

My thoughts when reading, UTG may be ahead with As-Ax (don't know why he wouldn't bet the river here though (I think he has no reason to believe button will bet here and I think he has a significant amount of value))

I think the action would be very strange for him to have AA[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I'd expect either a limp/reraise or a check/raise on the flop or turn. I'd also expect him to bet the river, especially since the board is paired.
