Rules about playing on Stars, 2 players, same IP
If a friend wants to bring his laptop to my house to play on Stars at the same time as me, would that be alright as long as we are not playing at the same tables or the same tounraments?

I assume playing at the same table from the same IP and/or the same tournament would be no-no's...

Yes. Obviously don't join the same sit'n'goes if that's what ya'll are planning on playing. You can't sit at the same cash game tables if you play from the same IP address. In MTT's it's possible to be at the same table but that's just due to random seating.

It's fine for something like the sunday mil as it's extremely unlikely you'd ever be at the same table but if you were don't use it to your advantage and you'll have no problems.

Of course they will frown upon it. You don't want to be at the final table with your friend. You give them an excuse to withhold your winnings and they will do it. |
