I like leading the flop, hoping he raises, just calling the raise, then checkraising the turn. It will make your hand look like JJ/QQ. You aren't worried about AK drawing out, so if they check behind the turn, it's not that big a deal. You may even get them to pay off unimproved if the river blanks and you lead. B3B is also an option on the flop, but it would be hard to get 2 bets on the turn with that line.

Fastplay this one. There are too many scare cards that can come on the turn & cause him to slow down with an overpair/fold overcards, so you're generally better off pumping the pot & hoping to tie him to it when he's drawing thin/dead. So I bet/3bet the flop, if he caps it I'm still leading the turn & 3betting if possible (unless a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] falls on the turn, then I bet/call).

On a less drawy board, and particularly if I have enough of a read on the opponent to pretty much know he has an overpair if he puts in a raise anywhere, I like bet/call on the flop followed by bet/3bet on the turn; this looks like you just have a 1 pair hand & are trying to guard against AK taking a free card, and will often work against an aggressive opponent holding that overpair.

I like James' line, but I don't think bet/reraising the flop is bad either.

bet the flop. choose turn action based on opponent. if he's aggressive, call flop raise and bet/3-bet turn. more passive opponent, call flop raise and c/r turn.

bet the flop.

heads up, i'm not going to be scared of too many cards. if you get 4-betted against a club, Jack, Queen, or Nine on the turn, i would be worried though. otherwise i would feel comfortable 3 and 4 betting all streets.

The problem with that line here is that there are so many scare cards which can come on the turn & cause him not to raise there. I'd rather get in the certain 3bet on the flop & go from there.

I think that you will get the most money in by c/r the flop and leading the turn hoping to 3bet. An over pair will often smooth call your flop c/r and raise the turn. There is always a good chance that a 3bet pf against an UTG raiser is an over pair.

lots of lines possible here, also c/r flop and if he 3 bets c/r turn as well, otherwise lead. There's two kinds of people, those who see a flop c/r as serious strength and will go into calldown or fold mode from then on, and those who (often correctly) interpret a flop c/r as weakness in the form of either a marginal hand or a draw; some hand where you want your opponent to fold your turn lead. Against the former you should just bet/bet/bet, and against the latter the flop c/r comes in handy.
