I have been agressive 3-betting, attacking, and taking down pots so far this session in normal raised. I have 3-bet this villain light and he has done the same back. However, I feel I am behind his range on this river I dont think he follows through with semi-bluffs on this river given the pot size. I put him on AT, 9T most of the time and fold river.

Thoughts on all streets welcome.

I agree that his line is super strong and I like a fold here.

I don't think it's a huge fold at all...he overbet pot on the river right??

It looks like you're huge from the line you took. Worse hands will value bet, not shove 2x pot. If he had a flush draw and you're super aggro he'd prob raise flop instead of waiting til turn...esp with stacks like this oop

i seriously think you see the nuts 50% and the 2nd nuts another 25%...

also if he was raising turn on a semi bluff he'd probably make it larger:

1. so you fold more often instead of peeling with good odds
2. so if you shove he's at least pot committed himself and doesnt have to make some awkward call/laydown

i do think it's somewhat strange though that he didnt just set himself up for a pot sized river bet/protect more against draws if he does indeed have the straight...

[/ QUOTE ]we should make a rule that on river shoves people have to change it to the effective river bet instead of what it normally says.

people should just use the lego poker converter. it's so easy and it takes like 3 seconds to do...
