25NL - top set: extract the most vs. protecting hand
villain is 34/6.5/3.2 (155 hands)
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 5 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $43.25 CO: $18.90 Button: $31.65 SB: $24.40 BB: $48.85 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $1</font>, 3 folds, BB calls. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($2.1, 2 players) BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $1</font>, BB calls. Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($4.1, 2 players) BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $3</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $6</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $22.1</font>, BB folds. Uncalled bets: $19.1 returned to Hero. Results: Final pot: $16.1 The problem here is now what to do against villains turn min-raise. We want to protect our hand against gazillion draws, but by doing so we actually commit ourselves to the pot pretty much, by re-raising pot ($19 left behind after the turn re-raise). So how much would you reraise to on the turn and why? (obviusly calling and folding is out of the question) Would you bet pot, giving villain 1:2 immediate odds however comitting ourselves to the pot and actually offering ~1:3 implied odds? Or would you raise less to lure him in, or go AI (we are committed so might as well)??

Bet more on the flop, at least 1.5$. In my experience villains will call shoves most of the times after they minraised. So I guess a shove is fine.
Edit: Didn't notice you were both deepstacked. Definately bet more on the flop you want to build a big pot! I'd raise to 18$ now and shove the river.
