Okay, you get to the flop with 2-pair. Make a choice here: Are you mostly ahead or mostly behind? I think usually ahead, especially against loose-passive (although loose = overvalues suited cards, and passive = doesn't raise much, and both of those are marks for you being behind.)
If you wanna go the distance with A7 here, then push the flop. It maximizes FE (maybe he has a flush to the 5 or something and quits? Unlikely but possible), and if he does have the flush you have a 1 in 6 or so chance of filling up to win. Often you can drag in a guy holding something like AxKh on this flop when you're pretty ahead. |
