Another Vista problem - can\'t activate windows from the tray
This happens every session, bar none. I'm logged in for a while, doing my business, then suddenly I can no longer get windows to activate by clicking them in the active window tray. I have to toggle to them.
Is this a known bug? |

Re: Another Vista problem - can\'t activate windows from the tray
What sort of windows won't pop back up ie: Firefox, poker, games, etc? Not sure what you mean, "toggle to them".
I've only had this problem with Vista and Full Tilt windows from time to time. However, I've had it happen with XP and FT too a couple time. I just assumed it was a FT problem since it had happened on XP also. |

Re: Another Vista problem - can\'t activate windows from the tray
All windows.
ALT+Tab works, popping up a box displaying the active applications, which I then toggle to the one I want. I honestly don't know if I have had this problem with a microsoft window, because I don't use them often enough to know. But yeah, Firefox, PT, HUD, Stars, FTP, TurboTax. I've never seen this with XP. Maybe was just lucky. |

Re: Another Vista problem - can\'t activate windows from the tray
Odd. That really sounds like some sort of a bug to me. I'm sorry I can't help you, because I'm baffled. I know how annoying it was for me with FT (hasn't seemed to happen in a couple weeks, now that I think about it) and I can't imagine it doing that with every window. Ugh.
Maybe someone else can chime in here, but that is the first I've heard of this and I know how frustrating that must be. |
