5$/90 Double Stack FTP, Too much overplay?
14th hand. Not much read on villain, but i had a note on him that he min-raised KQo rom MP2. Villain looks like classic donkie, when he raised 3.5bb i put him on a range of TT+/AJ+.
I had an aggro image, i won like half of the pots and table is weak generally. My first thought was keep the pot small with QQ because we were too deep. But i couldn't lay the hand down. (BTW i tried to bet 320, bet 230 by mistake. Too much bad beat affects my fingers moves i think) Full Tilt (8 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards) MP2: (3,015) CO: (5,380) Button: 3,020) Hero: (4,595) BB: (2,925) UTG: (2,810) UTG+1: (2,550) Villain: (2,705) Preflop: Hero is SB with , . Hero posts a blind of 20. 2 folds, MP1 raises t140,3 folds, Hero (poster) calls, BB calls. Flop: , , (3 players)(pot t420) Hero bets t230, BB folds, MP1 raises t1,110 , Hero calls. Turn: (2 players)(pot t2640) Hero checks, MP1 bets t1455 (All-In), Hero calls. River: (2 players, 1 all-in) pot(t5400) Final Pot: |

Yeah i tried to bet 320 but bet 230 by mistake, my instincts told me that he had AA,KK on flop raise. But i didn't try to be a ultra-super pro on 5$ by laying down QQ.

I think as played and with your read I would definitely fold the turn.

Re: 5$/90 Double Stack FTP, Too much overplay?
folding the turn after calling the flop is horrid.
im shoving over a lot of the time on that flop. also i would reraise this pre BECAUSE of the fact that you are deep. that's not a reason to keep the pot small with a hand like QQ. |

Re: 5$/90 Double Stack FTP, Too much overplay?
I think there's no difference on going all-in or calling all-in here. He's committed and it'd be impossible for him to lay his "KK" down on this board. with his raise the real question was am i going to showdown with this hand or not? There's no FE here. I remember a lot of hands like this on this board and the things i learned told me to go to showdown. My instincts told me other choice. As i told, my bet was value bet so i didn't fold here. I don't believe "information betting" but this hand brought another thing to my mind about all of my game and showed me one of my weak points.
The real thing i wonder is if re-raise pre-flop or 3bet on flop is more +EV in this situations. |
