Recording desktop videos using VISTA

Has anyone tried using camstudio with windows vista? I'm just having gobs of problems. I cant get the X-vid codec to work, and when i use whatever codec is on my system, it doesn't play properly.

I'm just wondering, anyone here using windows vista, and what program are you using to record your desktop, and how did you get it to work?
