what if the other two players are 55%+ WTSD aggressive showdown monkeys??? (Rare occurence, I agree). You will hit your set 1 out of 8.5 times and need to win 5.6BB+ when u hit. Still a fold?

[/ QUOTE ] If CO is raising with, or Button is Ccing with a pocket pair, it makes a big difference. PLus, 77 can be an overpair on the flop, and 7 can make more straights than 3, which can make only one. Not a big difference, but somewhere between 66-99, these distinction becomes a lot bigger. So you are saying you fold 99? I think its very easy to justify either calling or 3-betting with 99. Obviously, 88 and 77, less so. |
