1x100 ??
So I was reading up on the superhero program and looking over the program designed by Thibaudeau and noticed this :
D. Lateral raise 1 x 100 reps (take pauses if needed) D. Rear delt machine 1 x 100 reps For the most part the routine looks pretty regular (though high volume) but there are a few of these 1x100 sets. That goes against everything I've read about weight training; what gives? The full program is here : http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=917176 (look for a red HERE like 1/3 of the way through) |

Re: 1x100 ??
go back in the archives and find CT's first HST-100 article, it explains the concept...Waterbury has a similar idea in his Hypertrophy Booster Shots Article...i've never tried either so i can't say anything about effectiveness...

Re: 1x100 ??
As they say, "Routine is the enemy".
Its a great way to vary your training and give your body something unexpected to deal with. I would imagine it would be best served in areas where you have really plateaued using more traditional shocking methods. |
