Default Razz: raise 3rd, brick 4th & 5th.

Seat 7 is a solid player who has a 3 card 7 here most of the time. Raise on 3rd seems standard, though I'm not particularly live. I know I have the odds to call 4th because of my raise on 3rd, but 5th is a fold, right? What do I need to catch to call on 5th?

Razz ($5/$10), Ante $0.50, Bring-In $2 (converter)

3rd Street - (0.60 SB)

I do believe that you played this one correctly. If you had caught a 7, 6, 5, or 3, I think fifth would have been a call.

IMO, you played this fine. 5th was a definite toss. Any low improvement and you could've called it.

So, on 4th, basically we only have the odds to try and catch a better 4 card hand than villain?

Definitely played it right on fifth IMO.
I may have folded it on fourth.

Yes, thats why you re-raise with such a strong hand.

Calling 5th wouldn't be horrible, 7x out of 10 the villain is on a steal, its the equivalent of calling down with AK - but I like folding. Not so sure if that is weak tight, I don't think it is though.

Is fourth a call only if the 6 is live card? THat is there is a good chance the six paired his hand.

If we have seen many sixes already, I fold fourth street. The Jack is a 2 to 1 or worse dog to the roughest 7.

No, the reason for reraising 3rd is to make it so you're correct to call 4th in this situation.

It's called pot size manipulation.

You were correct in calling to see 5th street, but after your J you needed a 7 or lower to continue. Folding with a 9 vs. his T was correct. Only if he got a J, Q, K or paired the board instead could you consider it. Your 4,2 is way better than his 7,6.
