Default 100nl passive line with KK

SB in the hand is 48/3/0.4 no other reads on him.
I'm playing somewhat aggressive opening a lot and he usually folds to my continuation bets.

What are your stacks like? I reraise about pot after the flop min checkraise and fold to a push. As played its impossible to put him on anything. These min checkraises usually are top pairish type hands in my experience.

Seems like he's pretty happy w/ his hand. My guess would be a flopped set or maybe a big pair.

I play it the same way but we almost always lose here against a villain this passive taking this line. there aren't enough draws on the flop plus the villain is passive so there is no reason to reraise or fear giving him a cheap card. calling turn is fine, calling river is fine since it's a small bet. if he bet more we can fold.

If you almost always lose why play it that way?

if we reraise the flop we fold some worse hands and get stacked by better hands. we can't fold to the tiny turn/river bets here. if there were a ton of draws on the flop villain could be betting OR if villain was loco than we can make some noise. since he is passive i dont want to play for stacks here.

get stacked? you only have to bet pot, which isnt your stack. If he reraises all in you fold being damn sure you are beat. If he calls you can see the next card and reevaluate with control of the betting. obviously you arent folding to these weak bets. Anyway, my question still stands...If you almost always lose...why not fold the flop?
