Live 1/2, All in decision on the turn
I'm in AC playing in a pretty good 1/2 game. I've managed to grind my way up to about $700 when this hand comes up.
Preflop: There are 4 limpers, I have Jd Jc in the big blind and make it $15 to go and get 4 callers. Flop: (Pot $60) Td 7d 3d I bet out $40 and get called by UTG, who is a bad player. He slowplays any big hands.... I don't think I've seen him raise or reraise one time. Turn (Pot $140) 2d I bet out $85 trying to take the pot down right there if the guy doesn't have a diamond. Instead, he mumbles "You hit that diamond didn't you? Well if you got me beat, you got me beat..." He then proceeds to push making the pot $510 and $200 more for me to call. Your thoughts? |

Re: Live 1/2, All in decision on the turn
That speech usually means diamonds. But you have a redraw if he's got a crap flush/ two pair. Tough one, but with your read about slow playing you could be looking at AdTx or something. If your read is just post-stacking wishful thinking you should reexamine the way you think about players after they pushed. Sometimes you can manufacture tells in order to get yourself to make a bad play. Without that read that he never slowplays I fold. With it I call.
