Default How to play AA deep after i reraise pf

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $102.30
BB: $83.20
UTG: $179.85
Hero (MP): $221.70
CO: $25.20
BTN: $97.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG raises to $3.50, Hero raises to $12.00, 2 folds, SB calls $11.50, BB folds, UTG calls $8.50

Flop: ($37) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, UTG bets $17.00, Hero raises to $55.00

This raise is too small isn't it? How much should it be? What's my plan for the rest of the hand?

edit: Villain is 29/12/3, bad tag

my note on him says "3 barrel low pair on A high flop, i calldown AT"

I'd smooth call the flop for starters unless you have a read or something.

I don't hate a smoothcall, but I'm curious - what would your flop raising range be here then?

Prob a set, AK diamonds, air. I think we're making it easy to play against us if we're raising this here because there isn't an A high FD for him, so maybe KQ diamonds or sets (QQ/KK maybe too) for him. I think raising folds all better hands and gets it in w/ 2 outs way too often. The best way to get value from AJ is to call here I think, since he's prob betting to fold to our raise 175BB deep.

It's small, ya, but I don't see nearly enough that can call our raise that we beat. So I'd rather just call here and try to get a bet on the turn/river as well instead of raising and folding or getting stacked.

Yah I meant it looked sort of suspicious to me. He raised UTG, flat called the 3bet, and then donked out half pot into jack-rag-rag board in a 3way reraised pot, and we have the ace of diamonds. I'm having a hard time ranging him here given this action.

Raise more preflop, raise more on the flop, try to get it all in.
