50NL: AA getting check min raised on a scary board

Villain is 37/8/1.5 over like 40 hands. I had just been raising PF the last two hands both with AK but no one saw what I had.

One hand I raised and villain called me PF and check min-raised an A high flop and I called and we checked it down and his AQ was good.

I'd put him on a pair + draw type of hand, I would think check/call unless river card is a scare card, 6,7,8,9 or heart. Raising here would be stupid.

with AA on this kind of board I think you are an even money shot most of time when villain has a draw , way behind a smaller part of the time when he has a set and completely dead a few of the time when he has the straight.

with all that said I would try to win a small pot with this hand, I really don't want to put a lot of money in the middle with AA on this kind of board. With that blank on the turn I am feeling better about AA but not that much I just call and call about 1/2 pot bet on the river also if a blank falls if not I may be inclined to throw this away

Well the guy had KJ and was bluffing me. I think I learned a good lesson. When you've raised a couple hands in a row and you pick up a hand like AA, you have to go with it as people will think your bluffing and play back at you post flop.
