Default Spew or semibluff pt 2

Villian is capaneo. Hes a very solid 23/16/3.5

More importantly he seems to recognize my lagginess and attempts to be very aggro and take pots away from me on the flop. So, the flop call might be a little sketchy here, but he knows im in lots of pots and plays back as so...

yeah...like i would just fold the flop usually. but if you're convinced there's a chance he's trying to take it away this looks good to me. what would you do on a non-diamond turn though, check/fold? same thing?

I would just fold flop. The rest of the hand is usually going to be very hard to play oop to a thinking aggressive player on that board. If I felt he was rly messing I may sorta turn my hand into a bluff and make it 100 on flop.

I prefer a c/c on turn. The only better hands you can get to fold are JQ/A and they will check behind alot so aren't necessarily a huge part of his range.

Then the river I would check whatver falls. C/r all in a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]/non[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q . C/c or c/f the other stuff depedning on bet size/timing/my gut feeling etc.

Hes a pretty solid player and I dont think he bets the turn intending to fold to a c/r.

i guess i should add there was a timing tell on his turn bet- it was super fast, after my very fast check. he hadnt spent any time to evaluate the turn. i dont know, the hand didnt feel right.

in the past 15 min on two different tables he had raised my flop cbets 3 or 4 times so it is tough for me to look back and say whether or not i was frustrated with it or whether my instincts were correct.

this could definetly be spew, though.
