Default horrible call

Wow. I am just so pissed about this hand. Everyone folds to button in 9 person game. Button is short stack with about 15 dollars behind. moves all in.being the short stack, i put him on low pockets. small blind is a really old guy with about 100 behind him that plays almost every hand. he just calls so i take him for a weak hand. to me, on the big blind with pocket 9's. going off my reads, i move all in with about 40 bucks. the old guy calls with a KT offsuit! ends up flopping a king and winning. normally i take beats pretty well but this one really pissed me off.i mean what can i do? im not the type to get up and start cussing. should i have played the hand differently even though my reads were dead on.

What are you talking about? You were barely ahead of KT, and he made the correct call - you mentioned he plays almost every hand so are you really suprised he might commit with a marginal hand? This is barely even a beat at all.

Since you left out a whole lot of important information (what the blinds were, whether this is a cash game, SNG, tourney, table images, what the 3rd player had and what you put him on, etc.), it's hard to evaluate much else.

Regardless of why he called, you do realize he made the correct call?

75% sure this is a gimmick account. There is a 25% chance you are a legitimate retard though.

You're missing the point

EDIT: I'll elaborate.

Old man is getting 2.5-to-1 to call so he doesn't need that much equity in a cash game setting. Obviously the initial raiser had a pretty weak range if OP felt that confident with his 99, so it's not like OP has to have a premium hand here or something... and he even mentioned the guy plays every hand, so he probably isn't getting that much FE. Guys like that love calling with broadway hands... calling stations tend to call.
