Default burning money is fun?

canterbury 30/60, late night full game

MP is a tricky lag. BB is a young unknown but has sat fo a few orbits and seems reasonable. In an eariler hand BB limps MP raises, flop is ace high, BB CR's, MP 3-bets, BB mucks and shows an ace.

UTG limps, MP limps, folds to hero in SB ( 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) who completes, BB checks

flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

hero bets, bb calls, utg folds, mp calls

turn: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

hero checks, BB bets, MP raises, hero 3-bets.

burning money /FPS or good spot to semibluff?

I don't mind the flop bet. I would follow through on the turn. I am not a fan of the turn play, but I hope you plan on betting the river.

I like it a lot, you knock out a better hand from BB a lot and MP doesn't necessarily have you beat or might make a laydown with a 9. I wouldn't bet the river though u/i I don't see any value in it.

i didn't bet the turn because MP will often raise the turn with alot of different hands.

i was planning on betting the river if i could get BB to fold.

Agree. This is a great play especially live where a cold 3 bet is like always the nuts.

I quoted Vehn and scrolled down. DD 2nd it pretty good. I'd have just quoted them both here but don't know how.

I dont mind this, but you have to bet river ui. This isnt the best board for this kind of play, bc JT is the nuts, but nothing so far leads me to believe anyone has JT.
