Probably third or fourth orbit? Villain has only played 2-3 hands each winning without showdown thus far.

I'd fold preflop to be honest, but raising to 150 is OK. You absolutely have to fold to the reraise.

personally i wouldve raised only 3x to keep pot smaller and then folded to such a reraise w/no read.

ill even openmuck AQ from early pos w/small blinds, but im a meganit early on.

as played id still have to fold, out of pos facing reraise UNLESS he's a known lag

Could you explain why you'd limp here? It seems all downside to me. Do you call a raise?

I would raise to 150 and fold to the re raise. I dont think I ever call a re raise with AQ unless its vs a shortstack.

Could you please expalin why fold to re-raise? I thought AQo was still quite a good hand.

OK heres my logic.

1) when you get re raised and ur holding aq you are usually up against AK or a pair usually a high pair which makes u either a small dog or a huge dog. Pretty srue I can get my money in better
2) you are out of position so when u miss the flop 2/3 of the time like u will he wins the pot. Or if you hit your ace you wont get much action or you get stacked by AK.
3) you said he is very tight has played 3-4 hands in 4 orbits which menas he doesnt get out of line and is playing only solid hands which have aq beat everytime.
4) you have to commit 1-4 your stack i think it was or a high percent.

I fold AQ almost everytime to a re raise as I stated earlier. You are rarely if ever ahead. Correct me if im wrong here guys.

your right shb, UNLESS vs shortstack or crazy fish. theres always exceptions random, but AQ isnt a great hand early in tournaments.

later when blinds are 400 and up AQ is a monster imo, and should almost never be folded preflop (except for certain bubble situations)

its all about the CONTEXT
