Atlantic city - house rental

We're a couple of guys planning to go to Atlantic city this summer, 4-8 guys. Any house/appartment rental companies/persons to recommend?
Preferrably close to some poker casinos.

Summer stay = summer rates. Jersey shore rental prices are pretty steep.

Sorry I don't have sugegstions for specific places, but be prepared for it to NOT be cheap. Might be better off with poker rates at one of the casinos.

We are planning to stay around 10-12 days. Would be very nice to stay together.

Your options are going to be limited because of the tourist season here. I guess I should have asked how ghetto are you willing to go to save money? A bunch of college guys might be willing to crash in a cheap hotel room for two weeks while others might not.

http://www.vacationrentals.com/vacat...ew-Jersey.html has a few listings (I don't know how reputable this particular site is, or any people.places on it, just what I looked up Googling "vacation rental Atlantic City"), but of course the prices will be relatively high. You can look for spots in Ventnor too - you can take a jitney (super cheap and they come by like every minute) from Jackson ave in Ventnor to anywhere along the casino strip, and easy walking distance to anywhere in the city you'd want to go.

Maybe there's an agency you could contact to rent someone's timeshare for a property out here. Or, you could post an ad in the AC Press (www.pressofatlanticcity.com).

In the offseason you can get all kinds of "free stay" deals at the casinos, and they'll let you choose which days. Get 6 guys and string together 12 days... you might have trouble getting free weekend days, but not always.

If you decide to rent someone's place, send a PM or post here just so someone can make sure it's not some f'd-up area or someplace you don't want to be. It would suck to find out you've booked something in the ghetto.
