Default Canterbury park worth the trip? Moving across country..

Driving between WA/MI and Canterbury doesnt seem too far out of the way? Good number of 1/2 and 2/5 NL games for a Saturday evening? Any 2p2ers frequent there? I'd search but montana hotspots are hard to come by and the Mobile Broadband doesnt work in this shithole of a state either (except for where Ray Zee lives, that part is cool)

None. No limit is not allowed by law in MN. 30/60 is the highest limit, I believe, available.

Yes, lots of 2+2ers play there. Shark tank

NL is not legal in MN. They do have NL at Turtle Lake in Wisconsin, which is probably about 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities. I know nothing about the games though.

I lived in Minneapolis a couple years ago and just had to go over there every month or so to get some NL play in, crazy good action then, im sure it has to be some of the same, they also had some 2/5 NL back then on the weekends

Is it worth the trip from eastern Iowa for a day or two?

Poto is nice especially after their recent expansion to 17 tables (used to be 10). The only NL they have there is 3/5 blinds with a 200min/600max. They usually play pretty soft, with a couple people at the table playing good poker. The tables tend to be deep stacked, so I would buy-in for the max if possible.

There is no drinking allowed in the poker room or the rest of the casino by the way. Don't know if that's an issue for you, but there is a bar all the way on the other side of the casino.

If you go, call ahead of time and get your name on the list. There is always a wait. The number for the poker room is 414-847-7605. they give you two hours before they take your name off the list.
