Person A: I don’t discuss money or work with my wife.
Person B: really?
Person B: ok
Person B: that's weird, but ok.
Person B: no I just think it's odd that you don't discuss work with her.
Person B: of all married friends i have... you're the only one that is this way about work/finances.

Note: Person B is single and has never been married.

Take No to mean it was a neutral comment/observation on Person B's part.

I apologize for the crappy poll... my friend and I just couldn't settle this. I'm not saying whether I'm A or B. The exact wording of the post was his (to ensure fairness).

The problem is that the written word is completely inadequate to accurately describe and judge the incident. There is too much in tone and gesture that could vary it to go either way.
