33 against a bad board.
Villain was running pretty hot...above average player from what I can tell.
Full Tilt Poker Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $0.50/$1 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $4.30 Button: $6.10 SB: $39.25 mattnxtc: $28.35 Pre-flop: (4 players) mattnxtc is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, Button calls, SB raises, mattnxtc 3-bets, Button folds, SB calls. Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5SB, 2 players) SB checks, mattnxtc bets, SB raises, mattnxtc calls. Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4.5BB, 2 players) SB bets, mattnxtc folds. Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to SB. Pretty standard hand or just dump it on the flop? |

Re: 33 against a bad board.
preflop is gross, just call. As played, easy fold to the flop c/r. If you're ahead you have 2 outs if you're behind he has a bunch. And you're behind a lot.

Re: 33 against a bad board.
Forgot to explain the preflop play..Button was basically limping every hand and playing very passive... I 3bet to gain position and to try and fold the button out.

Re: 33 against a bad board.
sorry but preflop is ridiculously stupid.
70 % its 51.014893489 : 49.0848328759 for you, woho 29 % its 20 : 80 against you aaand 1% you are ahead. ...or something like that |

Re: 33 against a bad board.

Re: 33 against a bad board.
PF you're lucky you folded out the button. I call PF against all and any opponents here. Raising is overboard.
As you played I'd probably fold the flop. I'd call the flop if i thought villain was capable of checking turn or raising a dry board. |

Re: 33 against a bad board.
Kimchi...if you are reasonably certain you can fold the button out...does it become a better play? He was bad enough that I felt I could fold him out like 60% of the time.

Re: 33 against a bad board.
33 is such a speculative hand even in thiis situation I think limping for a set and trying to get more callers behind you is much more profitable, even with the loose passive button. Is this full ring like the HH says or shorthanded? (or full ring with only 4 players playing at the time)
