100nl full: top set on turn, difficult bet because of pot/stack sizes
I hit the top set on the flop, and on the turn I am not sure how to play it.
Pot is 30 on turn and BB has 65 left, I cover him. I was considering betting something like 20-30 , but it seemed to make no difference, since whatever comes on the river I'll have to call down another 30 in either case, that's a bit how I thought. I don't have much reads but if BB is a normal half-bad player, I can see him calling with Jx, flush draw, 2 pair, and of course any set that I have beat already, as well as AK possibly if he is a bit better than assumed, he will probably fold any draw here and any other hand except a made set. but I think I prefer that he folds a draw to my 65 bet rather than have him call with a draw vs my 15-20 bet? As I said, It's not clear to me but I don't think I played it bad. I know I overbet the pot but I didn't seem to have many options, do I? I don't like the idea of betting something like 15 (half pot) leaving 40 behind, against a possible J or flush draw it seems like asking for trouble imo. How would any one else play it ? Is there a problem with my flop raise? pot is 10, bb bets 1 into it and I raise it to 10. should I raise more on the flop to give myself an easy decision on the turn? ´ $ 100 USD NL Texas Hold'em - 9 handed Seat 10: Hero ( $ 162.80 USD ) Seat 9: BB ( $ 80.35 USD ) seat 8-3: random players seat 2: SB [$ 0.50 USD]. Just bet the pot man, you want draws/random hands to call
