Default Am I a \"moron\" like my opponent insisted?

Got a nice tap on the glass by a 24/10/1.4 last night on PokerRoom.com for hitting my 2-outer. Was my play justified?

Hero in MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, 5 folds, SB calls, Villian (BB) calls, UTG calls.

Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

3 checks, Hero bets, SB folds, Villian calls, UTG folds

Turn (5BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB bets, Hero calls

River (7BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls and the explitives fly.

I figure I'm justified calling a donk turn with two As out there. He could easily be bluffing and folding to a raise. If he has TP weak kicker, I don't see how the other A makes him assume I suddenly don't have the case A. If he has TPTK slowplaying OOP is very weak IMO.

Even if I don't hit the Q and no scare card comes on the river, is this worth a call down? Or am I the inferior player that the villian suggests?

i\\\'d play it the same. and, i would have called the river if a blank came off.

BB showed no signs of having an A on the flop. His donk on the turn could mean a lot more than, \\"I have the Ace\\", i could mean, \\"I have a 9 and I\\\'m betting now because there is less of a chance you have an A\\".

I think I would be unconvinced with his turn bet, and call the turn. If he bet the river again I'd probably lay it down, but I think that turn bet is a weird enough bet to justify a call.

This is fine. Calling down unimproved is ok too.

Whenever I get called a moron I just agree. "Oh so sorry that was stupid. Ill try to play better. Thanks for the tip."

I was leaving the table in a few minutes anyway, so I chatted with him and got him to unintentionally admit that he would have called the turn as well.

Yet that only shut him up for about 30 seconds, at which point he started calling me names again.

Hah.

You played it fine. Villain in the hand played it badly, and might have been bluffing when the ace appeared on the turn.
If the chat bothers you, shut it off. I usually don't respond to those types of antics in the chat box. It appears as though your 2-outer might hvae put Villain on tilt.

Carl

Tell him you always fill up on the river.

I went with the popular "eh... poker is easy" instead.

I think that got him riled up.

It seems as though villain accomplished exactly what he wanted?
