Grandma was near tears when she heard I lost almost $1k in Vegas (rofl lol minus grandmama being that worried), or so my brother reports.

My dad basically called me a failure and asked me if I was waiting for him to die (alluding to the fact that my aunt and uncle and 90 year old grandma are going to die in the next 1-2 years due to cancer/old age and the fact that my dad has lots of money). I politely asked that he remove me from his will and hung up on him.

Just booked my ticket to go see him for Thanksgiving. This is going to be the first Thanksgiving that my "pro" status will be open conversation.

Variance: Sister is still dating cousin
Brag: Just bought a handle of bacardi, NOM NOM!
Beat: Mom accused me of only talking to her on the phone because she was buying me a ticket to Spain (where she has lived for the past 4 years). I politely asked her to cancel my ticket and hung up on her. She called back the next day to apologize so Spain is back on!!!!!11!1

Variance: My family is totally clownshoes.
