Morel season!!!!

It's still a little to early where I live in Iowa for morels to be out yet, but I'm sure they have to be up where some of you guys live. In about 2 weeks I'll add some good pics to this thread with all my finds for morel shrooms, but I figured I'd start a thread for all you guys south of me (guids) cough. I'm thinking of driving a few hours south just to go mushroom hunting tomorrow, but it will be nice when they actualy hit around here in a few weeks.

I saw them at the Ferry farmer's market in SF last week. I've always wanted to find some in the wild, not sure how hard it is here. (I hear it's much easier up north). I used to get chanterelles around San Luis Obispo, they're pretty easy to find there but it's been a really dry year = bad for mushrooms.

Went out last Saturday in Ohio Hocking Hills area. Still about two weeks early.
Today suppose to get up to around 80, by this weekend they are calling for snow. Hope that doesn't stun the growth.
