paris seems better than any of the cities on your itinerary.

Don't go to Milan, go to the south of France.

i hear paris is very overrated.
munich, germany has been getting good reviews from all the people that i have spoken with, is it not all that great?

I want a good nightlife/city experience. Im not a sight seeing whore but I would love to do that sort of stuff from time to time.

I hated Paris because I was trying to jam everything in to 2 days there but the museums etc were awesome. After that just head to Amsterdam for the rest of the time, it's such a cool place you won't want to leave.

Edit: oh yeah & check out the new travel forum

I'm in the south of France right now! Aix-en-Provence is a gorrrrgeous little city about 20 minutes from Marseille (which is the second largest city in Paris). 20% of the population in Aix is students, so there are loads of people our age to hang out with and tons of bars and quite a few clubs that stay open nice and late for a city that is small enough to not need a car. It is about an hour, maybe hour and a half from St. Tropez, 2 from Cannes, etc. The beaches at Marseille are decent and (like I mentioned) only 20 minutes away, but I don't like Marseille and would recommend Aix a hundred times over it. I've heard that Avignon is too small to have fun, in case you are considering other cities down here.

Aix is amazing.. I have a place in my heart for Marseilles, but I can see how it would suck for most. Nice is the other great option fluff missed.

Have you been to Arles, or Les Baux de Provence yet?

Vienna is great especially if you stay in a cool youth hostel and meet good people to hang with. I remember going to a very cool club alongside the Danube. Beautiful girls, sights, surprisingly good food and drink, + easy to get around.
