Default firefox problem - Xpost

*the bastards in the software forumn won't help, so I thought I'd ask you guys.*

okay, I've got a Mac and a PC. Both have Mozilla firefox on it. This morning, the Mac is fine but the PC is not opening Firefox for some reason. I click on it and nothing happens. I can get on the Web via IE so it's not my connection. I need the PC Firefox back because it has all my bookmarks...any way to keep these while re-installing Firefox on my PC?

Help!

the bookmarks should just be a file called bookmarks.html. find it and back it up. if you just reinstall without uninstalling, firefox should do this for you.

I have a program called MozBackup that will extract your bookmarks out for you. Also, try a ctrl-alt-del and make sure that firefox.exe isn't still running. Sometimes it doesn't exit properly, and if it's still running, it won't open.

Ctrl+Alt+Del

Find firefox under Processes

End Process

When I press CTRL+N in Firefox, I want it to open up a copy of the current page, but it loads my homepage. How do I change this?
