Default Slow when datamining

My computer is always very strained and slow when datamining. Is there a way to lessen this?

Probably not, either datamine less tables, or upgrade / get a new computer.

It really depends what you are mining for. You can try to optimize your queries, your data structures, build more indexes or otherwise precompute more data during the gathering and importation phases, and/or any combination of the above.

I guess you are datamining PartyPoker?
Are you using Pokertracker?
Is the Pokertracker autoimport running while datamining?

Try the following:

1) Go to "Main"->"Options"->"Close Tables" and uncheck "Close table if X player with Y hands on" (if checked).

2) Go to "Main"->"Options"->"General" and set "Delay between passes" to "2000".
