Default Trailer Park Boys

This show is [censored] great. It was recomended to me in the sopranos leaked episode thread, i have since dl and watched almost all the first 3 seasons. Julian and ricky remind me of 2 of my cousins...ricky must have studied my cousin for his part even the body launge is the same.

quick question for those that know the show well, after which season do i watch the movie?

i think my faviorte episode so far is the trailer park club.

Yes! So happy to see someone outside of Canada into this show. IMHO, it's one of the funniest shows ever made. The 'Rickyisms' they come up with are brilliant - and apparently 90% of the dialogue is ad-libbed.

New season (7th) starts here in Canada on Sunday.

With regards to the movie - meh. It's pretty weak compared to the show itself. Oh - and just wait until the 4th season....

Can I ask why? The first time I saw it I thought it was incredibly juvenille and quite stupid. But after watching another couple episodes its brilliance started to grow on me. I would recommend giving it another chance.

There's definitely some great material in there, but the whole presentation just annoys me and I find the characters to be too obnoxious for me to watch. Which is weird, because usually I love this kind of thing...but the whole way it's done just puts me off

They made the movie accessible to people who aren't super into the show, so it probably doesn't matter when you watch it. However for completeness you can watch it after the 6th season.

There's some really good stuff in this show.
90% of the dialogue is curse words, but I rarely get tired of it.
Some Quotes , but they are way funnier when you hear them being spoken....

Julian: Ricky, I'm telling you, you gotta stop growing pot.
Ricky: Come on, man, you can't tell me to do that.
Julian: I'm serious Ricky.
Ricky: You can't tell me to do that. It's like telling the NWA to stop being black.

Mr. Lahey: Randy just doesn't understand. I mean I love him dearly, but I hate Ricky more. I just don't want to have to put up with that prick for the rest of my life. You know, he grew up as a little [censored]-spark from the old [censored]-flint. And then he turned into a [censored]-bonfire and then driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance, he turned into a raging [censored]-firestorm. If I get to be married to Barb i'll have total control of Sunnyvale, and then I can unleash a shitnami tidal wave that'll engulf Ricky and extinguish his [censored]-flames forever. And with any luck, he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. [censored]-waves.
