Weird hand. I think both of your bets are light. I'd make that $2.75 or $3 on the flop.

Before you make that weak turn bet, you need to decide whether you want to commit to the hand or not. It's generally a mistake to commit 1/3 of your stack and fold. If you decide you're good vs villain's range, then bet like you mean it. If not, then check and see what he does.

It's pretty bad to make this turn bet though and fold.

This is one of the area's I have a lot of difficulty with. Mid PP's on a low flop with them acting as an overpair.

On one hand you're going to be a lot of small connection's players made with the flop. On the other hand there is such a large range of overpairs that have you beat. Even if you make a big bet and you're called you don't know where you stand if one of the many scare cards come (A-Q).

Personally I might have checked the turn, I think you might be beat here, so fold.
