Default NL10 - Nut Straight on paired board

Been at ttable for 20 min and villain has been doing stupid min bets all the time... things that just don't make sense. He once checked the nuts on the river when it was obvious that opponent was not gonna fall for the trap.

Game is 4 handed right now

Final Pot: $21.05

*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $20.05 | Rake $1
Board: [5h 9d 8c 5d Qh]
Seat 1: danny2049 (small blind) folded before the Flop
Seat 2: Johnny Blaze 88 (big blind) showed [Th Jh] and lost with a straight, Queen high
Seat 3: HallvardF is sitting out
Seat 4: BIGp1612 didn't bet (folded)
Seat 6: MrMcKracken (button) showed [9c 9h] and won ($19.05) with a full house, Nines full of Fives

Should I have been more cautious and just called the river bet? Or was pushing fine? I might be being results-oriented right now.

Don't show BTN's last river action and don't show results or comments about results.

I think the river push is ok given read.

Going with your read that the button has been playing stupid, I think your river push is okay. Just a few things to take note on that specific player...

1. He limped with medium pocket pair, on the button
2. He min-raised you when he flopped his set
3. Ask yourself -- why did he min-raise me to $0.50 on the flop, and then only bet $0.10 on the turn??

I hate playing limped pots pf. Definitely raise turn here to see where you're at.

I don't think an all in raise is horrible here.

Push is fine, you have the nut strait and the only hands that beat you are sets or the unlikely 5-8/9/Q to give villain a FH. There is no way you can put villain on a FH here, so IMO a push is fine.
