I don't mind the bet that much. It's kind of a mix between valuebluff and blockbet. Assuming he won't raise a small backdoorflush/T7 and you would have called a PSB of course. But if that ought to be a valuebet it was for the wrong reason imho.

Definitely check to induce a bluff, a blocking bet's retarded here. You get missed diamonds to go after the pot a ton here if you just check and it's not like villain's going to ever have a set to pay off your cheapie bet.
