Seems like you might as well of pushed the turn since it left such a small bet to call. I've been trying to look at my opponents stack sizes more when I'm sizing my bets lately, But yeah I think check behind on the turn.

If you are going to continue representing a big hand, raise more on the flop. You gave him pretty good calling odds.

After he calls the raise, i shut it down. Check behind on the turn and maybe call a weak river bet.

And pray he is on a flush draw.

I use this tactic with CB's against small stacks. I only bet say 1/3 of their stack trying to give them the notion that I'm trying to price them in and a lot of times I'm doing it with air cuz I missed the flop completely and if they play back at me I'm gonna fold. I think it's a tactic from Super System, Doyle says he bets 7,000 at someone with a 20,000 stack and he's basically betting them their stack, if they raise they are all in and if they call they know the rest of their chips are in jeopardy.

this is always an overpair IMO, and halfstack villains don't know how to fold overpairs on these flops

flat the flop. Is the raise for value or as a bluff?
