Default Moderaters out of control?

There was a post yesterday concerning short term technical analysis. It was locked and then it was removed. Granted it was on the border line of possible spam, but it wasn't for sure. At least not yet.

Anyway it brought up a subject that may be of interest to posters here. Very short term intraday technical analysis.

But it was deleted? Why? Because the mods don't like the poster? Moderation at 2+2 is totally arbitrary and out of control. Lots of offensive stuff (often by mods themselves!) makes it through just fine.

There was no reason (yet!) to block or delete that thread. I don't understand the moderation process here? I have been hanging around 2+2 lots longer than most mods. It was way better before moderators were created. There are lots of things (offensive and attacking in nature) that are never moderated and then stuff trying to start a discussion on a relevant subject that are? I don't get it?

I was mistaken. It wasn't removed. But it was locked? Why is all I'm wondering?

This could go in ATF but whatever.

The post was confusing at best, pointless at worst. IIRC, it was just an oversized graph that not everyone would recognize. And the OP didn't really offer any insight or analysis. He basically said, traders can find profitability anytime. and that was it. No [censored] traders can find profitability any time. It was basically a worthless post.

What did you get out of it or what discussion do you feel it would have generated?

Default Moderator just doesn\'t get it

The post offered a sub 1-minute very organized look at the market and offered no product or service and made no reference to any product, service or website. Why lock it?

Might not have been selling anything, but It was just a huge graph and no really explanation or point of the post.

"Here is a graph. Traders can make money"

Looked like a stochastic crossing system to me.

It means something to people with T/A experience, but he should've explained what point he was trying to make rather than trying to be obscure and showing off.
