Default NL100: Unknown TAG button raises, you sit in BB

You have played about 25 hands and 3betted this villain once. You have both played average TAGish.

Stacks: 100bb's

3 folds to button who raises to 4bb's, SB folds, you sit in BB

What hands would you 3bet with?
What hands would you call with?

What do you do in this situation where the variables seems very vague?

AQ+, TT+ for 3betting?

Ya I don't know for sure but I'd be 3-betting a lot more hands than I'd call with. Probly something like all pairs, A10+, KQ-KJ. Would mostly 3-bet them but might call with some of the high card hands.

Calling with high card hands? I think they are very difficult to play OOP. What about calling with 22-77? Is it a big leak, cause you wont hit set to often? I call only with small pairs OOP for setmining.

Calling OOP only with small pairs setmining is a pretty stupid idea. Any villain with half a brain will realize that every time you call in the blind and put in money postflop you have a set. Against thinking players you need to do a little more than that. Like calling with suited connectors, broadways, AJ, stuff like that. And also 3-bet small PP:s every once in the while. Keep it mixed up and the villains on their toes.

I 3-bet "by feel" from the blinds and don't have a hard set of rules. The forementioned TT+/AQ+ works well as a guideline but feel free to stir the sauce.

Salut.

It's not a big leak especially not in SSNL. However, the better player button is the closer to -EV it gets. First of all he will open with a very wide range and c-bet a lot. This means that you will very often be folding the best hand if you c/f whenever you don't flop a set. It also means he will not pay you off as often when you do. If he's a decent handreader and he's not too loose preflop then folding can definetely be better than calling if you're never continuing without a set. Pay attention to his agression factors and C-bet frequency.
