Some sort of riddle/puzzle I just read
A friend posted a MySpace bulletin with this riddle in it. I don't know if it has a joke answer, if it's old, if it's dumb, or what. And I obviously don't know the real answer. But has anyone seen this before or can figure it out? I was sufficiently puzzled enough to post it here.
[ QUOTE ] You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a 'drop off' (The ground is 18-20 inches below the level you are traveling on), and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is another galloping horse Both horses are also traveling at the same speed as you . What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation? [/ QUOTE ] |

get off the merry go round [/ QUOTE ] This is disappointing in its unfunnyness. Wonder how I never heard that one, though. Thanks for not flaming me. |

[/ QUOTE ] I heard it for the first time maybe 2 months ago. It's kinda lame, although my version's answer was "get your drunk ass of the merry-go-round" which is marginally funnier |

Re: Some sort of riddle/puzzle I just read
if they're traveling the same speed as you then their speed will adjust as your speed adjusts ... so slow down until you are slow enough to go off the left 18in drop and your safe.
What I win? |
